Bob and Julie Coleman visited Labrador this summer to explore the brook trout fishing. Bob and Julie are both veterans who volunteer a tremendous amount of their time managing our inventory of flies and equipment and keeping our gear organized, and Bob is also one of our guides.
As you can see, the quality and quantity of brook trout exceeded their expectations! They caught fish on top water, streamer and nymphs with each of them putting fish in the net that exceeded the 8 pound mark – that is a big fish! They used Igloo Lake Lodge as their outfitter and said the hospitality, accommodations and food was even better than the fishing.
