Congratulations to our newest Patch Guide, Bill Nelson. To become a Patch guide for Veterans Flyfishing you have to demonstrate the ability to teach basic casting skills such as PULD, roll cast and water load, demonstrate knowledge of fly fishing and equipment and pass a practical on the water test. In addition to demonstrating skills and knowledge, you must provide at least 50 hours of service supporting veterans with Veterans Flyfishing.
Bill has had a hand in some great First Fish adventures with our veterans and we really appreciate his service and support. Thanks, and congratulations Willie – one of these times we are going to have to get you and Charlie Daniels to sing for the group!
